Carpe Diem Natal offers one or two fishing days as well as full programmes of four to six consecutive fishing days.

Fishing programmes
- If you are on a business trip or short family vacation and just have a day or two to spare, we can schedule you for a memorable fishing adventure.
- On our day fishing trips we will pick you at your hotel, or meet you at a convenient location.
- Your trip will include a fishing guide, registered boat, fuel, electric motor and a snack on board.
Bait casting tackle is available. - Timing can be adjusted according to your needs.
- When considering groups fishing for four or more days, our aim is to tailor your stay and activities according to your needs.
- Our boats carry up to two fly anglers plus the fishing guide, and up to three Bait casting anglers.. plus a guide.
- Can offer/set several activities for non-angling companions.
- Groups will be met at arrival in Natal´s international airport, and transferred to the lodge.
- You will have the chance to meet with your fishing guides during our welcome dinner.
This will offer you and them a nice opportunity to exchange ideas, information, etc.. - Normally, fishing begins the following day.
We prefer to take advantage of the early hours so, after a nice breakfast, fishing begins around 06:00 - Timing of every fishing day will be adjusted according to tides, etc.
- When the last fishing day is completed you will be taken to the international airport, or to your accommodation if you have further plans to stay in the area.
- Every group so far has had their individual needs accomplished.

The river
Due to its excellent fishing characteristics and easy access, Rio Curimataú for many years already well known for its great bait casting fisheries, is rapidly becoming the best saltwater fly fishing destination in Brazil.
We operate in the vast estuary of the river, where the significant tides and saltwater level, allows the entry and a suitable habitat for several marine creatures….
Its location, together with a huge beautiful and almost untouched mangrove, the local people and culture, allow us to offer impeccable food, accommodation and service, which ranks among the finest recreational fishing destinations in the country.
Species
The Season
Located close to latitude 06º South, Rio Curimataú enjoys splendid weather with water temperatures in the range of 26 to 28º C.
Maximum 32º C. air temperature, mild rainy season with a peak in May/June and a dry season from November to March.
This allows us to offer fishing programmes throughout the year and a high season during October to May in coincidence with the arrival of the Big Tarpon..
The Accomodation
Rio Curimataú is located roughly an hour away from the international airport in Natal.
Although close to any material need that may arise, the river is in a natural location that offers the possibility of being in close contact with nature, far from any other people… except your fishing guide…!!
Accommodations on the river bank offer two alternatives according to the needs and preferences of each group of guests.
In both cases, individual or shared rooms, private bathroom, air conditioning, TV, wi-fi, refrigerator.
Food includes Brazilian-style breakfast, a snack on board during fishing hours and dinner with national drinks.
We do our best effort to offer a memorable stay. Attention and care in the preparation of food results in, regional and international meals, seafood, meat, tropical fruits and vegetables…..
After an intense day of fishing, nothing better than a good moment of relaxation, and pleasant conversation, followed by an outstanding dinner…
